How does the V-Clinic Website package work? : With the V-Clinic Website package, we are offering you the opportunity to provide dietary and fitness analysis services on your website. In fact you don't need a website as you can use ours. If you do have a website, V-Clinic is a great way to add extra services to it. Take the V-Clinic Login Box code V-Clinic Login Code and insert it on your site. Visitors to your site can then sign up to create their own account in your clinic. An automatic sign up form is included in the code so that users can automatically sign up to your clinic. (See Automatic User Sign Up FAQ below for more information) If you need assistance with this, just contact us. Your clients then come back to your site everytime they want to analyze their diet and fitness.
How can I earn revenue from V-Clinic on my website? : You can earn revenue from V-Clinic in several ways. Firstly, V-Clinic brings more visitors to your site which should mean greater sales of your own products and services. You can also decide to charge your visitors for their user accounts. This process can be completely automated if you wish. We can set this up for you at no charge. When users sign up to your clinic, some of then will want to buy V-Clinic Mobile from you. You can sell V-Clinic Mobile to them at a price of your own choosing and you can purchase V-Clinic Mobile from us. You can also charge your users for dietary or fitness analysis by you or a health expert. For instance, you can charge them $80 for a dietary analysis. (4 emails over 4 weeks). If you don't have the health expertise, then we can provide it to your clients in your clinic. Again, everything can be completely automated by us. So if you sign up 30 users to your clinic at $10 each you make $300. This is just an example but you can decide to charge what you want for any of the services that you provide. What can your users do in V-Clinic? : Your users will automatically receive their login details when they sign up for their V-Clinic account. Of course you can set up a user manually and provide them with their username and password. They can then login to their account and track their dietary and fitness behaviour. V-Clinic will automatically breakdown their daily nutrient intake. For instance, over a time period, V-Clinic can tell them what 5 foods provided them with the greatest amount of protein. Your users will not be able to see anyone elses account of course.
What countries does V-Clinic work in? : V-Clinic will work in almost all countries. For instance, if your nutrition clinic is based in New York, you can still provide full dietary and fitness services to a client in London.
How do the cell phone applications work? : For each user that you set up in your V-Clinic Account, you can sell them or provide them with a cell phone application. V-Clinic Mobile works on most common phones. To manually send V-Clinic Mobile, you simply key in their cell phone number and hit the Send Application button. Your user will receive the V-Clinic Mobile application direct to their phone. They can then track their dietary and fitness behaviour on their cell phone and can backup data back to their online account at any time. They can also download meal plans and fitness plans as set by you direct to their V-Clinic Mobile application. The obvious benefit for V-Clinic Mobile users is its convenience. Does V-Clinic have GPS capabilities? : Yes. V-Clinic has GPS capabilities so that users can track their fitness on their phone. Data captured includes distance, duration, positioning, speed etc. This data can be automatically sent back to V-Clinic Online for analysis. V-Clinic GPS works with phones such as the O2 XDA and the Nokia 6110 Navigator.
How does SMS work? : The SMS module enables you to send and receive SMS to and from your users through V-Clinic. The SMS are received into your V-Clinic account. It also allows you to set up reminder SMS messages or motivational SMS messages for your users. You can purchase SMS credit from within your V-Clinic website account. You can also buy your own unique cell phone number if you want. With the V-Clinic Website package, a shared cell phone number is used to send and receive SMS.
How does auto email work?: Auto email enables you to set up reminder and motivational emails. For instance, every Friday PM, you could send a reminder email to your users - "Remember not to eat junk food this weekend!"
Can I just use the Auto SMS and Auto Email modules for my business? : Yes. You can use these Auto SMS and Auto Email for any business need such as marketing, appointment reminders etc. With the SMS, you will need to purchase credit directly from us.
What happens when I use up all my online user accounts? : When you use up all your user accounts, you can simply buy more accounts from us or upgrade to the V-Clinic Portal package. The V-Clinic Portal package allows you to bulk buy user accounts and cell phone applications at discount rates.
Can I put my logo and name on my V-Clinic Website Account?: Yes. You insert your logo and clinic name on the V-Clinic Website package. With the V-Clinic Portal package, you can also re-brand the V-Clinic Mobile application.
Can I create Meal Plans and Fitness Plans? : Yes. You can create Meal Plans and Fitness Plans for your users. They can follow their plans by logging into their online account or by downloading the Plans direct to their cell phone application.
Can I set nutrition and fitness targets for my users? : Yes. You can set targets for both nutrient intake and fitness. For instance, you can set a maximum daily calorie intake of 2500 for a user. When they pass this limit, a message will pop up informing them. You also set minimum limits.
Can the user see charts? : Yes. Both simple and sophisticated charts are available on V-Clinic. For instance, a user can chart their BMI against their intake of doughnuts over a time period!
Can a user text a code to download V-Clinic Mobile?: Yes. With the V-Clinic Portal package, we can make unique codes available. The user simply texts the code to a number that we provide. This is a useful service for promotional activities.

Where can I find a list of phones that are compatible with V-Clinic Mobile?: The full list of compatible phones is available within V-Clinic. We update this list every 3 months. Basically, any java enabled phone with over 250kb of memory should be V-Clinic Mobile compatible. This means that almost every Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, Sony Ericsson phone released in the last 2 years is compatible.
Does V-Clinic Mobile work with Blackberrys?: Yes. A V-Clinic Mobile version for Blackberry Pearl and Curve is now available.
Why can't I send an SMS?: Check to see if you have any SMS credit left. You can purchase SMS credit directly from Wirefile. Users of V-Clinic Portal can purchase SMS credit from third party suppliers as well as from V-Clinic Interactive. V-Clinic Interactive SMS coverage is almost global.
I want a personal inbound SMS number for my business. Can I get one?: Yes. V-Clinic Portal clinics may rent their own personal inbound SMS number. Inbound SMS numbers are available in the US, UK and Australia.
Is V-Clinic used in a clinical context?: Yes. V-Clinic was developed with the assistance of an NHS Trust and with input from many dietitians and fitness experts.
Do I need a health qualification to provide the V-Clinic service?: No. As V-clinic automatically analyzes nutrition and fitness, no expertise is required. However, extra revenue can be earned by using a trained professional to provide full dietary or fitness analysis.
